Kami performs both as a solo artist and also collaborates with other dancers. She is a guest artist for The Indigo, directed by Rachel Brice, and has also worked with Samantha Riggs of Boom Boom Bollywood on choreography and periodically performs with the company. Kami currently tours with The Bellydance Superstars.
What
This workshop will focus on a choreography Kami has created which infuses touches of Bhangra influence. This isn't a Bhangra class, but bit and pieces of Bhangra dance will be taught. Small Bhangra embellishments will be combined with rolls, lock and waves to create a fun fusion to perform to that favorite Bollywood remix you've been dying to dance to. This class is open to all levels. Bhangra is an energetic form of music and dance which originates from the Punjab region of India.Where
